Ranch Operations Specialist

Legacy Ranch at Dry Creek is Northwest Arkansas' premier private retreat and sporting club, offering leadership retreats, corporate events, upland bird hunting, sporting clays, chef-prepared dining, and private gatherings. We are seeking a dependable, hardworking individual who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in delivering exceptional service to our members and guests.

This is a hands-on position that supports the daily operation, maintenance, and presentation of the ranch while helping create outstanding experiences for every guest who visits.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the ranch grounds, landscaping, and facilities, including mowing, weed eating, trimming, and seasonal property maintenance.
  • Assist with general ranch maintenance, farming tasks, and minor repairs.
  • Care for hunting dogs, including kennel maintenance and daily care.
  • Assist with and guide upland bird hunts.
  • Help operate and maintain the sporting clays course.
  • Support leadership retreats, corporate events, and private gatherings by assisting with setup, hospitality, and event operations.
  • Occasionally assist with dining service and other hospitality needs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while interacting professionally with members, guests, and corporate groups.
  • Operate ranch equipment safely and maintain a clean, professional appearance.
  • Work as a team player and assist wherever needed to ensure a first-class member experience.

Qualifications

  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
  • Enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with lawn equipment, tractors, hunting, sporting clays, dog handling, or ranch operations is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day.
  • Valid driver's license preferred.

Requirements:

· Safety Sensitive Position

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must have the ability to work extended hours as required by the workload.
  • Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and in all types of terrain
  • Able to meet all physical requirements such as standing, walking, climbing, stooping, bending, and lifting 50 pounds or more.
  • Ability to work around loud noises and can tolerate being exposed to odors, gases, dust, etc.
  • Must be able to work in extreme temperatures, in confined spaces, and uneven terrain.
