Ranch Hand / Equipment Operator

We are looking for a dependable, experienced, and self-motivated individual to help maintain and improve a private ranch. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working outdoors, knows how to operate equipment safely, and takes pride in quality work.

The ranch has multiple pieces of equipment, including tractors, skid steers, and excavators. Work will include field maintenance, land improvement, dirt work, property maintenance, and a variety of projects around the ranch.

Responsibilities:

• Operate tractors and various tractor implements
• Operate skid steer and attachments
• Operate excavator for digging, clearing, grading, and other projects
• Mowing, shredding, and general field maintenance
• Dirt work, land clearing, and property improvement
• Perform basic equipment inspections and routine upkeep
• Assist with general ranch maintenance and miscellaneous projects
• Recognize what needs to be done and take initiative to get it accomplished
• Properly care for equipment, tools, and the property

Qualifications:

• Previous tractor and heavy equipment operating experience required
• Experience operating skid steers and excavators strongly preferred
• Mechanically inclined with a good understanding of equipment
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Strong work ethic and willingness to take on different projects
• Honest, trustworthy, and respectful
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

We are looking for more than someone who can simply operate equipment. Integrity, ambition, common sense, and pride in your work are extremely important. The right person will be trusted with valuable equipment and given the independence to complete projects without constant supervision.

Pay: $24-32/hour
