About Us Hickory Creek Farm is a working farm located in Carriere, Mississippi, committed to Stocker Cattle Operations.
Position Overview We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Ranch Hand to assist with the daily operations of the farm. This is a hands-on, physical role requiring a strong work ethic and a passion for agricultural life.
Responsibilities
- Maintain fences, buildings, and farm equipment
- Operate tractors and other farm machinery safely
- Assist with planting, harvesting, and land maintenance as needed
- Perform general cleaning and upkeep of barns and facilities
- Identify and report signs of illness or injury in animals
- Follow all farm safety protocols
Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of livestock handling and/or crop production
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Reliable transportation
Compensation
- Competitive pay based on experience
Pay: $12.00 - $20.00 per hour
