Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Ranch Hand to join our dynamic agricultural team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and productivity of livestock, managing farm equipment, and supporting daily ranch operations. Responsibilities

• Provide daily care for livestock, including feeding, watering, grooming, and health monitoring to ensure optimal animal well-being.
• Operate heavy machinery and farm equipment such as tractors, irrigation systems, and power tools to support planting, harvesting, and maintenance tasks.
• Perform routine equipment repairs and welding to keep machinery in top condition and minimize downtime.
• Assist with animal husbandry activities including breeding, handling, and managing different species such as horses or cattle.
• Maintain fences, pastures, and facilities through heavy lifting, hand tools, and equipment maintenance to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Support crop growth by managing irrigation systems, greenhouse operations, and horticultural practices aligned with sustainable farming standards.
• Supervise or collaborate with team members on farm projects while adhering to safety protocols and operational procedures.

Skills

• Proven supervising experience in agricultural or ranch settings with strong leadership capabilities.
• Mechanical knowledge including equipment repair, welding, and basic troubleshooting of farm machinery.
• Extensive animal husbandry expertise with a focus on animal care and handling techniques.
• Ability to operate forklifts, heavy equipment, power tools, and hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Familiarity with irrigation systems, greenhouse management, horticulture practices, and growing techniques.
• Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Basic math skills for measurements, inventory tracking, and operational calculations.
