About the Position

Double M Ranch is a family-owned cattle and farming operation located near Hermiston, Oregon. We are looking for a dependable, hard-working individual to join our team.

This is a full-time, year-round position offering a variety of work throughout the seasons. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, operating equipment, working with livestock, and taking pride in a job well done.

Every day is different. One day may involve feeding cattle, the next operating equipment during hay season, repairing fence, maintaining irrigation systems, or helping with general ranch maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operate agricultural equipment including loaders, tractors, feed trucks, skid steers, backhoes, and other ranch equipment
• Feed and care for cattle and assist with daily feedlot operations
• Assist with haying, farming, irrigation, and harvest activities
• Build and repair fences and perform general ranch maintenance
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and minor repairs
• Assist with cattle work including sorting, processing, branding, calving, and pasture moves
• Complete a variety of ranch and farm projects as needed

Qualifications

• Experience operating agricultural equipment preferred
• Experience working with cattle or livestock is a plus
• Mechanical aptitude is a plus
• Valid driver's license required
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Dependable, self-motivated, and willing to learn
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions

Compensation & Benefits

• $20.00–$24.00 per hour, depending on experience
• Annual performance review with opportunity for wage increases
