About the Role

GH Logistics is seeking a reliable and hard-working Ranch Hand / Yard Laborer to support our daily ranch and truck yard operations. This position is critical to maintaining our livestock, land, and fleet integrity. We are looking for someone who is hands-on, dependable, and capable of working outdoors in various conditions.

The role will include animal care, truck cleaning, light maintenance, and yard-based labor tasks. You’ll be working around trucks, livestock, equipment, and vendors, so attention to detail, timeliness, and presence are key.

Key Responsibilities

• Animal care duties: feeding cattle and hens, checking water levels, rotating fenced perimeters
• General ranch upkeep: maintaining fencing, spraying perimeters for insects/snakes, minor landscaping or base cleanup
• Truck cleaning: deep clean truck interiors and exteriors on a rotating schedule
• Yard operations: move equipment, assist with trailer positioning, support graveyard and parts movement
• Machinery use: assist with basic use of loaders, rollers, or ranch equipment (training provided if needed)
• Passive security: be present to observe who is entering/exiting yard on weekends and evenings
• Weekend availability: must be willing to work weekends if needed (rotating or scheduled)

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience working on a ranch, farm, or in a trucking yard is preferred
• Must be physically capable of working outdoors and lifting moderate loads
• Reliable transportation to work every day (no housing included)
• Ability to follow a checklist and report when tasks are complete
• Communicates clearly and follows instructions with accountability
• Mechanically inclined or willing to learn equipment operations is a strong plus
