Ranch Hand

We are looking to add a motivated individual to our operation. This is a family ranch that is self sufficient and very remote. There is no cell service and no power on the ranch. So if you’re addicted to social media and a light switch this probably isn’t the place for you. We provide a cook , an excellent one I might add, That provides all your meals, bunk house living and all commodities you may need. Duties will vary from person to person, but can include and not be limited to, haying, irritating, general chores such as cleaning barns and feeding/watering animals, (general animal husbandry) training colts , riding colts, moving/ doctoring cattle in two separate cow camps in the summer , this will be wall tent/tpee camp setting with a chuckwagon. We use horses for all cow work, prefer experience, but only require a compassion for the land and animals you tend to, that the good Lord provided us to steward. We recognize the importance of passing on knowledge as this is a dying industry and is critical for the success of future generations. If you have a drive and a willingness to learn, we will teach you under the right circumstance, but you must CALL. We will not respond to applications.
