Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Ranch Hand to join our team at Leonard Ranch & Cattle Company. This role is essential for maintaining our ranch operations, ensuring the well-being of livestock, and assisting with various agricultural tasks. The position is based in the United States, where you will contribute to our commitment to quality and service.
Responsibilities
- Assist in daily ranch operations including feeding and caring for animals.
- Property maintenance at multiple locations.
- Building maintenance and upkeep.
- Operate heavy equipment and farm machinery safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist with irrigation systems to maintain healthy crops or pastureland.
- Conduct repairs as needed on farm machinery and tools.
- Utilize hand tools for various tasks around the ranch including gardening and landscaping.
Requirements
- Experience in animal care or ranch work preferred.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery and farm equipment safely.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and outdoor work.
- Basic knowledge of irrigation systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with greenhouse operations or gardening techniques is beneficial.
