Job Description
About you:
As a Ranch Hand you will be expected to be hardworking, reliable, and ready to assist with daily operations on our cattle ranch. You will have experience working with livestock, performing ranch maintenance, and operating farm equipment. This position requires physical labor in various weather conditions and a strong work ethic.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
● Assist with the care and feeding of cattle, including monitoring herd health.
● Perform routine ranch maintenance, including fencing, irrigation, and barn upkeep.
● Operate and maintain farm equipment such as tractors, ATVs, and trailers.
● Assist with branding, calving, vaccinations, and other cattle handling tasks.
● Maintain water sources and ensure proper hydration for livestock.
● Repair and construct fences and enclosures as needed.
● Perform general landscaping duties such as mowing, weed control, and road
maintenance.
● Assist in hay production and other seasonal ranch operations.
● Adhere to ranch safety protocols and procedures.
● Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Requirements:
● Ability to operate and maintain ranch equipment.
● Strong physical endurance and ability to lift 50+ lbs.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
● Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
● Willingness to work in all weather conditions.
● Valid driver’s license required; CDL is a plus.
Education and/or Experience:
● Previous ranch or farm experience preferred.
● Knowledge of cattle handling and basic veterinary practices is a plus.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
