Job Description
Private barn is looking for great Ranch Hands. Hours, shifts and jobs vary with 8-2:30am, 3:30-6ish pm, and variations including weekends. Current days are M, W, F AM and M, Sat pm with every other Wed pm. Includes turn out & in, grooming, feeding, caring for animal habitat and property with responsibilities such as mucking, cleaning waterers, throwing hay, general shelter upkeep etc. Must have a DL and your own reliable vehicle, be able to lift 75# and work in the heat (Fl job). Nonsmoking, nonvaping property. Need to be able to arrive to work on assigned days, on time; healthy individuals (ie, not calling in frequently) can forward a resume. Since it is a Ranch job, horse (particularly horse! ) experience is necessary. I will be asking you to share your work with and care of horses so if you include this on your resume it will expedite our conversation. Property maintenance is helpful but the job priority is working with and caring for the animals. It is not a riding or training job. As a private barn it is important to understand the experience required and if you have owned, leased or worked in a barn caring for horses you will understand. Thank you for reviewing our ad.
