Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Ranch Hand to join our dynamic agricultural team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and productivity of livestock, managing farm equipment, and supporting daily ranch operations. Responsibilities

• Assist with animal husbandry duties, including feeding, watering, grooming, and health monitoring of livestock such as cattle, horses, or other farm animals
• Operate heavy machinery and farm equipment safely, including tractors, loaders, and irrigation systems
• Perform equipment maintenance and repairs using hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and basic mechanical knowledge
• Support fencing installation and repairs to ensure secure enclosures for animals
• Handle livestock during routine procedures such as vaccinations, hoof trimming, or transportation
• Assist with planting, harvesting, greenhouse management, and growing operations as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of barns, pens, equipment storage areas, and workspaces

Skills

• Proven supervising experience in farm or ranch settings with the ability to oversee daily operations effectively
• Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairing farm machinery and equipment
• Extensive animal husbandry skills with a focus on animal care and handling techniques
• Ability to operate forklifts and heavy equipment safely and efficiently
• Experience with irrigation systems, horticulture practices, greenhouse management, and growing crops
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and performing basic maintenance tasks
• Knowledge of farming practices including crop cultivation and sustainable agriculture methods
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting and strenuous outdoor work in various weather conditions
• Basic math skills for measuring feed quantities or calculating land measurements
