Stable & Farm Attractions Manager

Known as The Dude Ranch, we are a new farm attraction built around the Old West, but right here in Cincinnati. Activities include pony rides, trail rides, cattle drives, an expansive petting zoo, hayrides and much more. We specialize in kid's birthday parties and small gatherings but also open to walk-ins. We're looking for an energetic, dependable leader who is passionate about animals, enjoys working with families, BUT EXPERIENCE WITH HORSES IS A MUST.

What You'll Do

As our Weekend Manager, you'll oversee the entire farm's operation including walk-ins, all birthday parties and farm attractions - while ensuring every guest has a fun, memorable, and safe experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and coordinate any party activities from arrival to departure.
• Safely saddle, lead and supervise pony rides, be available to guide trail rides (if necessary), operate the ranch's tractor hayride (we'll teach you) and other animal interactions during parties and special events.
• Supervise and support event staff, assigning responsibilities and ensuring exceptional guest service.
• Create a fun, engaging, and organized experience for children and families.
• Assist guests with safe interactions around horses and farm animals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting barn and attraction area which includes picking paddocks in petting zoo.
• Manage event logistics.
• Respond professionally to guest questions or concerns and help keep events running on schedule.

Safety & Animal Care

Safety is our highest priority. This role is responsible for:

• Ensuring safe handling of horses and other farm animals.
• Enforcing safety procedures for guests & staff.
• Maintaining a clean, safe environment for both animals and visitors.

What You Bring

• Experience handling and riding horse is required. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY WITHOUT THIS PRE-REQUISITE
• Previous experience supervising staff, volunteers, or event teams.
• Friendly, energetic personality with a passion for creating memorable experiences.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Weekend reliability and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Position Details

• Pay: $20–$25 per hour, based on experience
• Schedule: Part-time, Saturdays and Sundays required.
