JOB TITLE: Operations Associate (OA)
DEPARTMENT: Operations, Kuna Idaho
REPORTS TO: Operations Senior Manager
LOCATION: Must be local to apply, interviews are in-person only
POSITION SUMMARY:
OAs make up small teams, work effectively without any supervision, and play supporting roles in all aspects of day-to-day operations at our flagship facility. OAs are primarily responsible for construction, maintenance, and other projects on a daily basis and assist with all other activities on an as-needed basis. As core members of the primary infrastructure project team, OAs exude a professional demeanor at all times and maintain the highest standards of reliability, safety, work ethic, and teamsmanship. They are be flexible, adaptable, & team-oriented with regard to work schedule, task execution, and productivity. All staff are expected to stay on-ranch for the entire work day. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Be a team leader able to able to effectively accomplish numerous disparate tasks throughout a long work day without any supervision
· Primarily support of all aspects of construction and maintenance of the Kuna Ranch physical plant, but also participate in animal handling, processing, & all other miscellaneous company operations
· Maintain & repair small engines, equipment, vehicles, and buildings; clean animal facilities as needed
· Be consistently available outside of normal business hours and in the case of emergency; a team player
· Contribute to the maintenance of a highly biosecure, “clean” ranch property and facilities; follow and enforce all AOF policies and protocols
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
· Work experience with a track record of leadership and high performance in one or more of the following fields: construction (framing, fencing, carpentry, concrete, roofing); landscaping; general farm work; livestock production; animal care
· Integrity, reliability, experience leading diverse teams in challenging conditions
· Effective communication skills: written (via a smartphone and keyboard); orally in one-to-one and group situations; interpreting plans and maps; completing maintenance logs and project reports
· High energy & physically fit (able to comfortably lift 80lbs chest-high); excited to work outdoors all day in all weather conditions in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same; drug free and able to pass required background screening

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- Starting pay $22-$27/ hr DOE with potential for significant performance-based cash bonuses.
